Membership fees
York Croquet Club membership fees for 2025 are as follows:
Full membership £175
Associate membership £90
Young Player (18-30) membership £45
Junior Member (under 18) £30
Family Membership (One adult and up to two under 18s) £205
Country Member (50+ miles from Club by road) £100
Temporary Member (18 or over who are/have been CqE members, or have completed an Introductory course. 4 weeks' trial, new applicants only) £30
Winter Croquet - from October - March - members of another club £45
Social membership £10
Visitors Lawn Fees £10 (capped at £20 for one session)
Full members, Associate members and Young Player members can attend any Club session and book a lawn any time one is free, with no further charge. Mallets are also available if required, and all other equipment is provided by the Club.
Associate membership is open to any Association Croquet player whose main membership is with another croquet club affiliated to Croquet England.
Young Player membership is offered to those aged 30 and under.
New members who join after completing the introductory course are offered membership for the rest of that season for £30. We also offer a special rate for new members joining the Club late in the season.
Visitors' fees are payable per session on the Club lawns. If you wish to play more than four times in a season we normally ask you to join the Club as a member. Visitors' fees are capped at £20 for one session, where a club member was present with the visitors.
Fees can by prior arrangement be paid in four instalments payable at the start of May, June, July and August by arrangement with the Treasurer.
All membership fees are correct as of January 2025.

If you are reconnecting with the game after a period away from it, we will be very happy to refresh your memory of the rules, technique and tactics.
If you are new to Association Croquet, the Club offers Introductory Courses and Taster sessions so you can experience the game before joining. Follow the links to the relevant page.
