There are a number of social events through the year. We hold a winter lunch, a spring dinner and a summer party to which all members and their partners are very welcome.
At Finals Day, we mark the end of the playing season with a bring-and-share lunch, play the finals of some of the internal competitions, and plenty of opportunity for relaxed conversation: this is always a special day.
Once a month after a Monday club session we have an informal bring-and-share lunch
During the winter months, there are opportunities to gather informally for Meet and Eat at a local pub; fortnightly strategic board games mornings; social bridge sessions; occasional pub runs; Club newsletters; and a lively Club WhatsApp social group. Some members arrange to play social pétanque. And even the winter doesn’t stop outdoor Croquet play entirely, with lawns available to members when weather permits.
